Turning Point Report: Digital Outreach

TURNING POINT’S DIGITAL OUTREACH IS
HELPING OUR WORLD MAKE
SENSE OF IT ALL

For 38 years, Turning Point has been committed to delivering the unchanging Word of God to an ever–changing world. Our mission has never been more relevant or urgent than it is at this moment. The events of this past year have taken a heavy toll. All around us, families and communities are searching for spiritual answers.

We may not be able to make the world around us predictable or stable, but we can choose to live in this assurance and share it with those around us.

As God’s people, we can face our fears and doubts with unshakeable confidence. “We know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28). Even the devastation of COVID–19 will be made right in the context of God’s overarching plans for the future. We may not be able to make the world around us predictable or stable, but we can choose to live in this assurance and share it with those around us.

This message is at the heart of Turning Point’s Making Sense of It All campaign. Since February, Dr. Jeremiah has been guiding us on a journey through Scripture to find answers for some of today’s most pressing questions—to help us rise above our circumstances, conquer our fears, and find hope. By God’s grace and with your support, the Making Sense of It All campaign is giving hope to millions of people worldwide!

Within Turning Point’s online audience, 60 percent of all visitors to DavidJeremiah.org come to our website because of an invitation they received on social media—many of whom might be uncomfortable entering a physical church.

Maintaining a vibrant digital presence has become a vital aspect of Turning Point’s outreach. Seventy–two percent of adults rely on social media to get information, and 73 percent of people online use YouTube. Facebook serves 69 percent of all online users. Within Turning Point’s online audience, 60 percent of all visitors to DavidJeremiah.org come to our website because of an invitation they received on social media—many of whom might be uncomfortable entering a physical church.
