FALSE. There is unspeakable power in obeying God, boldly proclaiming His truth, and drawing strength from our fellow believers. These tools can help us stem the tide of socialism. More importantly, our hope is in knowing that one day, the victorious, risen Christ will destroy the powers of evil that seek harm. Isaiah 9:6 assures us that “the government will be upon His shoulder.” Isaiah 2:4 states that Jesus will “judge between the nations, and rebuke many people; they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore.”

No matter what happens in today’s politics, we have this promise: Jesus secured the ultimate victory. He is coming back to rule over the earth, and His rule will be perfect.
